Small version about the origins of Ninja, is told in various media such as books and films, perhaps as an example like this:
Ninjas originated from ancient China and then traveled to Japan during the Tang Dynasty. The Japanese have developed a Ninja martial arts, by making a deadly killer, who can sneak in without being detected and then all of a sudden attack.
It seems unreasonable that such a tale. So we have to go back, and look into the history books during the Japanese era, to see what the actual facts about Ninja
The origin of the Ninja is very unclear and difficult to determine. Historically, they have about the 14th century. In the written records that detail activities of ninja shinobi they are also known as “experts in the field of information gathering” or “an expert in disguise and secretly movement” that can penetrate enemy territory to observe every go and obtain confidential information without being detected. In the Sengoku period (during the war in Japan centuries 15-17), mercenaries and spies for the lease came from Iga and Koga regions of Japan, and that clan is then a lot of knowledge about the ninja is inferred.

Sarutobi Sasuke (fact : Kouzuki Sasuke)
In general, Sasuke is a creation of fiction who was born in the Meiji era, June 25, 410 based on the historical ninja Kozuki Sasuke. The fact mentioned that he registered in a member of the Ten Heroes of Sanada is evidence that he ever existed.
Sasuke was a ninja of the Koga clan, while Kirigakure Saizo is an Iga ninja. Thus, when Sasuke and Saizo appear together, they are always depicted as arch-rivals, but after they were recruited to the Sanada then they became a friends.
Sarutobi, meaning ‘monkey jump’, he is known for his agility and speed in moving, especially on trees.
Sasuke died when he was detected by the palace guards. He managed to escape but unfortunately, he entered into a bear trap which forced him to amputate his own feet. He later killed himself in front of the palace guards and they threw his body into a ditch.
Kirigakure Saizo ( fact : Kirigakure Shikaemon)
Saizo is a ninja of the Iga clan, who specializes in Iga Ninjutsu. Kirigakure name literally means “Hidden Mist” with the sense that Saizo often associated with fog and illusion magic. Saizo in several media appearances usually appears as a character with silent, elegant, mature, handsome and sometimes as young people with a small bit feminim.

Of the ten members, only Sarutobi Sasuke and Kirigakure Saizo is the most well-known and frequently appears in various media. The rest is very rarely told and even then some of them might come up with a vague character. Some say Anayama Kosuke is a woman, and Miyoshi Nyuudou brothers (priests).
There are also several other legendary Ninja, which may be partly familiar to us.
Fuma Kotaro (???? – 1603)
Is a ninja that appears on the Sengoku period as well. Legend says that in 1596, Kotaro Hattori Hanzo tracked by the messengers of Leyasu. It is believed that Hanzo is responsible for the deaths? with then trapped him into a small channel that causes his ship collapse at high tide. Then burn the channel Kotaro forces with oil.
When the Tokugawa to power, the strength of Fuma-ryu was reduced to a group of pirates who frequently attacked some areas of the Tokugawa. They were eventually caught and executed.
Hattori Hanzo (1542 – December 23, 1596)

Hattori first time fighting at the age of 16 years, he has participated in several battles such as Anegawa (1570) and Mikatagahara Oda Nobunaga. Hatori provide a future to the Tokugawa Shogunate with Leyasu to be a way out through the Koga and Iga regions to return to the province of Mikawa, who then consider this leyasu Iga ninja to guard Edo Castle (the headquarters of the Tokugawa 1572). The greatest contribution was in the year 1582, after the death of
Hattori Hanzo died in 1596 at age 55 with a natural death. But, there is a well-known legend that a ninja Kotaro Fuma who had killed Hanzo in battle. Hahaha .. Which is right?
Mochizuki Chiyome (16th century)
Chiyome is a female ninja of the Koga clan who founded the group consisting of female ninja (kunoichi). He coached all members to become highly efficient information gatherers, seductive reliable, courier, and if necessary be a killer. Members also taught all the skills as a Miko (shrine guards) on duty at any Shinto shrine in Japan. This allows them to roam anywhere without suspicion. They also receive religious education as a complement in disguise.
Over time, the Kunoichi discover more effectively in disguise as an actress, sluts or even a geisha. This allows them to be able to go freely in the villages, cities, palaces and temples, so it can go closer to the target. The Kunoichi are more focused on fighting against each other. They are also armed with a deadly arsenal of hidden from view or didnt looks like a weapons, such as needles, daggers hidden in their sleeves, and neko-tekakushi buki or secret weapon). They are also trained to effectively kill a target by using poison.
In one incident, Lady Chiyome disappeared in history. But before he disappeared, he was handed over her training school to Kosuke Anayama.
Fujibayashi Nagato (16th Century)
Fujibayashi Nagato is one of the three largest after the Hattori Hanzo ninja Iga and Sandayu Momochi. He became well-known for its boiled alive after a failed assassination attempt on Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Large iron kettle-shaped bathtub, called Goemon-BÜRO.
Information about the history of life there are various kinds of Goemon. But in essence all the same that he was a hero of the people, the background and origins are not known by anyone so that everyone is speculating on their own.
Yagyu Sekishusai Taira-no-Munetoshi (1529-1606)
Was a samurai at Sengoku period with the well-known expert in Shinkage-ryu school (school of shadow) which was then introduced to the Tokugawa clan. The tale says that the grandfather of Munetoshi is a ninja of the Iga clan. He studied martial arts and liberal, was very skilled with spears and swords, and to study Confucianism (philosophy and ethical system of China), Zen Buddhism and Shingon Buddhism.
Munetoshi also a character in the novel Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa, Vagabond is also in the manga comic and as main character in the game Onimusha 2.
Munetoshi died at the age of 78, the year 1606 in the village of Yagyuu. And in the year 1650, Yagyu JuBei Mitsuyoshi (well-known for the legend in the eyes of one or manga Samurai Legend), which is the grandson Munetoshi buried in the same place next to his grandfather.
